I've been where you are, staring at a blank Google Doc called "Italy" with seventeen browser tabs open and no idea where to start. Here's a little about me and why I might be exactly the person you need in your corner.

Hi, I'm Cydney, and I built Nomad Travel for People Exactly Like You.

Travel advisor. Hidden gem hunter. Shoe-packing enthusiast.

You've waited too long, saved too hard, and dreamed too big for a vacation that's just... fine. Nomad Travel Boutique was built for Gen Xers, empty nesters, retirees and busy professionals who are ready for travel that's more personal, more intentional, and more memorable than anything a booking app could offer.

I specialize in custom European travel and trips to Mexico. Milestone anniversaries in Italy, group celebrations in Greece, solo adventures you've been putting off for years. I handle the details so all you have to do is show up and enjoy it.

Because you deserve better than fine

Fine hotels. Fine itineraries. Fine trips. No thanks.

You Deserve Someone Who's Actually in Your Corner.

I work for you — full stop. From the first conversation until you arrive back at home, I handle every detail so you can show up and simply be present... because that's what travel is supposed to feel like.

Not the hotel's corner. Not the tour operator's corner. Yours.

Think of my private Facebook group as your backstage pass to all things Nomad Travel.

nomad travel

It's where I share destination inspiration, travel tips, honest reviews of the places I've visited, current travel news, #WhatsInMyCup cocktail stories, and my ongoing, and very serious, hotel coffee ratings...because someone has to hold the industry accountable.

Meet the Person Behind the Passport Stamps

What I bring to every trip isn't just logistics knowledge. It's the curiosity to ask the right questions, the personal travel experience to know what's actually worth your time, and a genuine investment in getting it right. The part that never gets old is watching someone go from overwhelmed and unsure to genuinely, excitedly ready. That shift is why I do this.

Cydney Nestor, Travel Advisor & Owner, Nomad Travel Boutique

Every great business starts with a moment of clarity. Mine came when I realized that the travel experiences I was having, deeply personal, expertly planned, full of hidden gems — weren't what most people were getting. That felt like a problem worth solving.

The Idea:

How I
Got Here...

From Ireland family trips to Greek island hopping to the Amalfi Coast... the itineraries started flowing and the passion proved very, very real.

First Clients, First Adventures:

Launched with a simple belief: that travel planning shouldn't feel like a second job. You've earned the trip. You shouldn't have to work this hard just to take it.

Nomad Travel Boutique is Born:

A boutique travel agency helping travelers across the country trade overwhelm for wanderlust...one life-changing trip at a time. And I’m just getting started.

Today:

A Few Things You Should Probably Know About Me

Every destination I visit gets a signature drink and a story to go with it. Aperol Spritz in Florence, gin & tonic in Croatia, champagne at Disneyland Paris…travel and good drinks go hand in hand, and I will die on that hill.

I take cocktails seriously... and so should you.

01

If you need someone to quote The Breakfast Club or recommend the perfect road trip playlist, I'm your person.

I'm a proud Gen Xer who grew up on 80’s music and still thinks it was the best decade for basically everything.

02

There's a ranking system. Join my private Facebook group and I’ll tell you more.

I have strong opinions about hotel coffee.

03

My husband and I are empty nesters now... which means our dogs have fully taken over. No regrets.

I'm a dog mom first, travel advisor second.

04

It's kind of my superpower. Figuring out what you actually want from a trip, even when you're not quite sure yourself is where the magic starts.

I started my professional career as a therapist, so I tend to ask good questions.

05

I’ve marvelled at Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, wandered the back streets of Florence, island-hopped in Greece, and sipped (and sweated) my way through Costa Rica. My recommendations come with personal experience attached.

I don't just send clients places I've read about.
